The Hagood Family

Remember that gorgeous Sunday at the end of February?  We spent that morning with the Hagood Family, out near Elberton.  Heather invited us out to photograph their family and we happily made the trek out there. 

The word grace has been rattling around in my head since their session.  Grace, in the kind, quiet hospitality Wanda and Gene showed us from the moment we met.  Grace, in the quiet of the woods washed in sunshine, nestled between the tall pine trees.  Grace in their posture and positivity, in their humor and hopefulness.  I have thought of them every day since the session, and have no doubt that I will continue to reflect on their family's strength in the coming weeks and months.  Our love and prayers are with you all.
