The Valentine's Day Pin-Up Collection | Hartwell, GA Lifestyle Photographer

While we could offer cute Valentine's Day mini-sessions for families or couples, we're going to play to the lovers out there. We're offering a limited number of super sexy boudoir sessions. That's right - let your inner pin-up girl come out to play! Valentine's Day is traditionally a holiday for lingerie, so give your fella a double thrill in 2011 - pictures of you in the lingerie.  We'll be making classy, sassy photos that make him realize how very lucky he is.   Oh, and don't worry... we won't click and tell. ;)

The Pin-Up Collection comes with:

  • A 60-minute session, photographed discretely in your home
  • A 100% private, password-protected gallery hidden on our website.
  • A 4x8" hardcover press-printed accordion book. Books will be black; they will have a large centerfold style photograph on one side and several smaller photos on the other.

All sessions must be photographed by January 31, 2011 to ensure holiday delivery. To allow time for proper editing we are limited to a very small number of sessions and will take them on a first come, first-served basis.

I know you have questions... email info@snydersphotography.com, or call us at 706-244-2205. Serious inquiries only, please.

MCP Project 52 | Hartwell, GA Lifestyle Photographer

If you follow our Facebook page, no doubt you've noticed our 365 project.  While it's not a new concept, it's exploded in popularity this year.  From real-life friends to photographers we dearly respect around the country, it's the new hip thing in photography.

Taking a photo 365 days a year, however, is a more serious task that it initially appears to be.  It's committing to taking a good photo, downloading it from the camera, editing it and posting it in the venue of choice - in our case, on our Facebook page and on our 365 Blog.  In lieu of the 365 project, many people are opting for a "52" instead - a photo a week for one year.  How many of you take photos of your kiddos each week?  Could you commit to downloading your camera each week and uploading one photo online to share?

If so, I both invite and challenge you to join the Multiple Choices Photography 52 Project.  Kindly hosted and administrated by Jodi of MCP Actions, this 52 week photo project is designed to get people photographing and thinking critically about photography.  I'm tickled to announce I have been asked to help lead/moderate this project.  It's an honor to have been chosen and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to do it.  I'll be blogging on the MCP 52 Page from time to time, and will be actively moderating the photo pool on Flickr.  I'm joined in this task by Jen, Haleigh, Rebecca, Justin and Lisa.  Feel free to throw them a little love if you like their photography.

Interested in joining?  Here's what to do.  If you don't already have a Flickr account, sign up for one, then join MCP Project 52.  Add a photo that fits the week's suggested theme and see what others have come up with!  Keept it up, and by the end of the year you should have a neat little body of work.  I hope you'll consider making the committment to this project and I look forward to seeing your photos!

This week's theme is "Around the House".  Saturday begins week two - the theme will be "Illustrate a Song".  I'll be guest blogging that week's best work, so get going!

Callie and Shane - Engaged! | Elbert County, GA Wedding Photographer

Callie and Shane's full session is up online at http://snydersphotography.zenfolio.com/weddings/chandler-anderson.  No, I'm normally not this quick with editing, but since I was sick and couldn't do anything else I ended up editing the whole session in one long day instead of breaking it up into pieces like I usually do.  So much fun, so much love - these photos make my heart happy.  Best wishes to Callie and Shane; I'm sure your wedding will be stunning!

This photo became our 365 photo for 1/1/11.  You can view our 365 at http://www.snyders365.blogspot.com/

The Gersch Family - Clemson, SC Family Photographer

Our session with the Gersch family was almost snowed out!  The white Christmas of 2010 was a welcome treat, but we spent that evening wondering if we would be able to travel to the Gersch home up on Lake Keowee the next day.  After some phone tag and consideration on both ends, we all decided to give it a go.  The trip up was uneventful, but we were shocked to discover the lake prevented the snow from sticking!

The Gersch family is delightful.  Each of them was so kind and truly made us feel welcome as we invaded their home.  They had gathered for Christmas - they are scattered from Florida to Texas - and had just a few days to get this session in.  We enjoyed our afternoon with them and would relish the opportunity to work with them again.  Many thanks to Prudy, for letting us rearrange her living room, and to everyone else for your flexibility and hospitality.  I can only hope that our children's families will be as lovely someday.

Callie and Shane - Engaged! | Elbert County, GA Wedding Photographer

Callie and Shane are quite possibly the most fun couple to photograph!  Callie's winning smile and laugh are infectious, and Shane's "Hey, I'm up for that!" nature let us have so much fun today.  We worked in between rain showers, but were able to get in this long-planned session.  It'll be a week or so before all of the photos are edited, but here's a sneak peek until then...

I mentioned photographing in between the rain showers...  really wasn't exaggerating!
