Kim, Clint and Natalie + 1 | Hartwell, GA Family Photographer

Radiant!!  I cannot get over how much Kim glows!  She's bubbly and sweet and super hip - in short, she's the kind of person one could photograph every day without getting tired of it.  She put serious planning into our session - she chose a wonderful location, fun outfits and had all sorts of ideas.  Before you ask, I'll say we did not ask the 35-week pregnant lady to do handstands - but as soon as Kim said it, well, that was it!  By the end of the session the sun was setting and we ran out of light, but it was a super way to spend a summery Sunday afternoon.  Kim, Clint and Natalie, thank you for letting us make your pictures.  We're looking forward to Bentley's arrival next month!

Elijah is ONE! - Suwanee Family Photographer

A year ago my dear sister put us in touch with Anita, Elijah's mom, so we could photograph a newborn.  We had a wonderful morning, making photos of Elijah and meeting this new family.  I was also peed on for the first time during his session - so thoughtful of him.  Anyway, we loved how sweet Elijah and Anita were and have looked back on that day fondly over the past year.

Anita invited us back last year to celebrate Elijah's first year this past weekend.  As soon as their front door opened I was amazed at how much kids grow in a year.  In front of me was a smiling happy toddler.  He waved "Hi" to me, then toddled away slowly.  Anita, as sweet as ever, welcomed us back into her home and introduced us to her husband Taylor.  Our session was fun evn though it was overcast - towards the end the sun came out and things warmed up a lot.  Elijah flashed us his awesome smile over and over - and ate a little bark for fun.  Though Sugar Hill and Suwanee are pretty far from Hartwell, it was well worth the drive.

Katie and Dylan

These kids, well, they rocked their mini-session.  We said move, turn, lean, smile smaller, whatever - and they did it in an instant.  They're so full of life; they have such powerful spirits about them - it was an awesome way to end a day of photographing.  I'm told they didn't recognize themselves in the photos, which I'm choosing to take as a good thing.  :)

Emma

Emma!  So serious, so strong!  She's spunky and perfectly sure of herself.  She took some time sizing us up as we tried to move and pose and work with her, but no one can resist the insane noises I make to get kids to look and smile.  :)

Ryder

Ryder, oh Ryder, you have stunning eyes!  You're going to break hearts someday...
