Tripp | Hartwell, Georgia Newborn Photographer

Ten days new, fresh baby smell, warm wriggly little body...

I love newborn sessions.  Someone actually asks us to come over and spend time focusing on a teeny little one.  You'd think that after three kids I'd be over babies, but I looooooooooove them.  Who doesn't?  I do love that someone else changes the diapers and soothes the tears, but I will happily snuggle/rock/bounce our teeniest clients to sleep for photos.

Tripp was a dream baby.  He slept and ate and smiled and slept some more.

I love this photo.  I love that the hat is huge compared to Tripp.

3 Months | Hartwell, GA Baby Photographer

Remember Levi?  He came by for his three month session yesterday - such a wonderful personality and very willing model.

Not to be outdone, Sara Beth showed us her supermodel side, too!

Levi | Hartwell Georgia Newborn Photographer

Ever since we did Lucy's maternity session, we've been waiting to meet the little man inside the big belly.  Yesterday was that day!  Little Levi was alert and thoroughly interested in what was happening around him - which is wonderful for a 13-day old baby - but not so wonderful when we're trying to make sleeping baby photos!  After a few hours of evading sleep, Levi finaly drifted off and allowed us to make some pictures.  I don't believe there is anything sweeter than a sleeping baby.  According to Lucy, Levi slept all afternoon after we left - seems he's already becoming a mischievous little boy!

We're very much looking forward to seeing Levi, Lucy, Sara Beth and Curt in a few weeks for their family session!

The Ruyffelaert Family!

One of the wonderful things about going "home" on vacation is the opportunity to reconnect with people ...  Tracy asked that we meet up to photography Miss Fiona (8 months of adorable), as well as her and Shawn.  We had this date planned for months.  Tracy picked out Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, MA (our old stomping grounds) for the session.  We were eager, we were ready -

And it rained.

Fortunately, Shawn, Tracy and Fiona are amazingly flexible people who happen to love the outdoors - they were calm and cool and rolled right along with it.
