It's been said you can't look to the future without looking back at the past. As we count down the hours to 2011, I'm reminded of last New Year's Eve and the things we planned for 2010. You may be surprised to know that Snyders Photography was the faintest of dreams, just a tiny blip on the radar. We owe a tremendous thank you to Shelbye Specht, for convincing us to hold an art show at The Art Center in downtown Hartwell - her invitation got us thinking about photography again. Also, to Jessica Cartledge, for letting us play around with her Canon and really commit to becoming active photographers. Without these two wonderful women I don't know that Snyders Photography would be where we it is right now.
We'd also like to say thank you to all of our clients who have smiled and said cheese, to those who have brushed off rain and shivered in the cold with us; thank you to those who have sweated in the summer heat and those who have traveled great distances to work with us - it was a pleasure to meet and work with all of you. Best wishes to the couples we witnessed as they were married, and we wish great joy to the families that added a sweet little one this year. Might want to check out our Best of 2010 page and see if you're smiling face is up there!
We hope 2011 will be a super year to grow our business; our wish list at B&H is long, but we plan to chip away at it (Dave's very excited about that part!). I've been looking over the CPP exam schedule and NAPP conference dates and wondering how much travel we can fit in to 2011 while still being available to our clients and taking time with our children. Richmond, VA is a super vacation hotspot, right?
We wish all of you the very best in 2011 - prayers answered, wishes granted and more wonderful time with family and friends that one could ever hope for. We're delighted to start the new year off on the right foot, photographing an engagement session on January 1. We can't help but hope this this is a sign of things to come!
With love,
Dave and Kristin
