Tonight I'm awake, completely unable to sleep - so I'm counting my blessings.  I'm grateful for...

10.  This lovely fall weather.  The breeze that lifts the hair off my neck makes me grin every time.

9.  Slowly, steadily growing business.  We're surprised and humbled by the sudden interest in our work and feel as though we might be doing something right. 

8.  Halloween!  Candy corn and happy kids.  Homemade costumes and giggles and wonderment.

7.  Leasy and Paul's wedding.  Seeing the sweetness of love reaffirms what is right in the world. 

6.  Coffee, after these silly sleepless nights.

5.  The Martin and Morris families; the Mayes ladies and Cook/Toney crew.  The Temple girls and the Cooper family.  The Carters, again.  November 6th and 7th will be the highlight of our working year.

4.  Warm sweaters.

3.  Emily's wry smile, Jake's twinkling eyes and Aidan's mischief making.  They make me run and make me crazy, they make me pause and think and truly live every day.  They make my heart happy.

2.  Another birthday, overwhelmed by the love of my family and so many friends far and near.

1.  My very best friend, without whom the things I am grateful for might not exist.

And perhaps, now that I've worked my brain out just a little, I will be able to sleep until it's time to get up and greet Wednesday.  With coffee!
